THE LODGE IS A DEPARTURE POINT

...for outings, of course. For a start, venture into the beautiful 360-acre pine park surrounding the grounds. In winter, the well-groomed trails host cross-country skiers; in other seasons they are popular with equestrian, or people out for a quiet contemplative walk. You may wish to pause and reflect by one of the park's several small lakes or ponds. A typical Sunday afternoon might feature croquet on the lawn. If you are more adventurous, you may choose to bring your bicycle or rollerblades and venture onto the paved Willard Munger Gateway Trail, that stretches from Pine Point 26 miles into St. Paul.

Or, strike out for the charming nearby town of Stillwater, with its many antique shops and restaurants. Discover beauty of the scenic and wild St. Croix River ~ whether by riverboat, trolley car, automobile, canoe, or hot air balloon.

We arrange for wine tastings, art workshops, Spanish or French class, horse back riding lessons and other group activities (price TBD)

The Outing Lodge is happy to announce Personal Portraits by Twin Cities Photographer, Laurie Schneider. You may view her work at www.lschneider.com.

For your convenience, Laurie will come to the Outing Lodge during your stay for a portrait of you and your family. Perhaps your family is all together rarely and this is an excellent opportunity for a large family portrait, or a special time for just the two of you to remember and treasure. Indoors or out in the gardens. Allow 4-12 hours for scheduling.

THE OUTING LODGE IS A RESTING POINT

Unwind completely in our spacious, quiet, and very private suite in the main lodge. All rooms have private baths, many with whirlpools. Relax and converse with other interesting guests ~often until all hours of the night ~on comfortable couches around a seven-foot-wide fireplace. Browse through our library; sip some wine or microbrewery beer at our bar.

Week-night (Sunday -Thursday) : stay in a Fireplace or Jacuzzi ( suites 1 to 8 only) for $115.00 - (special valid for double occupancy, breakfast included). Minimum of two nights required.

You may rent the Lodge for your exclusive use for a two-night stay.

* Mid-week: $2,000

We will set a very elegant table in your suite, with excellent wines and a delicate artisanal menu predesigned by you. With special attention to all details, our staff will help set the perfect mood for a proposal or anniversary night or any other intimate celebration.

The price starts at $250.00 and vary according to the menu. (note: service, tax and overnight suite is not included in this quote).
